Known as Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure; Sun City is Africa’s largest resort and combines a Game Reserve, Casino, Golf Course, Water Park, Countless Restaurants and much more.
With so much to see it can be hard to know where to start when planning your holiday in Sun City. As such we’ve put together the top 5 things to see in Sun City.
Lose Yourself in Pilansberg National Park
This Malaria free national park covers 55,000 hectares and is home to South Africa’s big five, all of which are regularly sighted on the game drives that take place throughout the park.
You’ll also see giraffe, zebra, rhino and countless species of birds. We think the best way to see the park is a hot air balloon ride, and thanks to the parks extended opening hour’s hot air balloon rides can now be arranged for the very early morning – perfect for a special occasion or just to get a bird’s eye view of the park.
Back on terra firma there are plenty of picnic spots and areas to get out of your 4×4 vehicle and stretch your legs.

Experience the Valley of Waves
With its own sandy beach and a 1.2 metre wave generated every 90 seconds Valley of the waves is fun for the whole family.
Relax on a tranquil tube ride on the parks own river and take in the sights, or lie back on the beach and watch the world go by. Access to the Valley of Waves is free for all Sun City guests and snacks, food and beverages are all readily available.

Tee Off
If you’re wondering where Dad went he’s probably at one of Sun City’s two par 72 Golf Courses, known as some of the best in Africa.
The Gary Player Country Golf Course is ideal for players of all abilities and is the home of the Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge. The course also offers a club house and restaurant.
The Lost City Golf course offers more than just a great place to tee off, the views are simply breathtaking.
A unique course to say the least there are a number of water features, bunkers, oh and crocodiles at the 13th hole!
